Privacy

This page explains what data Personaspect processes when you use personaspect.com. In short: you need no account, we use no cookies and no third-party tracking tools, and your test answers are not saved.

Controller

The data controller is Personaspect, the service published at personaspect.com. For any request about your data, write to [email protected].

What stays in your browser

While you take the test, the answers you have given so far stay in your browser's storage, so you can pick up where you left off. After the test your browser also keeps the result and the personal link that opens it. For the current session only, it remembers which page brought you here and whether you ticked the consent box before buying.

This data makes the service you asked for work and is not read by third parties. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

What we save on the server

Your answers are sent to the server only to compute your scores, and they are not saved. We save the resulting profile: the scores of the five traits and the 30 facets, the number of statements you answered, a few indicators of answer quality (for example answers given too fast), the archetype, the language and the date.

The profile is linked only to a cryptographic fingerprint of your personal link. It holds no name, email or IP address, so someone looking at it in the database cannot trace it back to you. We process it to give you the result and the report you asked for (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Statistics

We keep daily aggregate counts of a few actions on the site, such as opening a page or starting the test, together with the language and the type of page you came from. The counts hold no identifiers and cannot tell one person from another.

Buying the report

You pay on a page run by Stripe, which collects your email address and payment details and processes them under its own privacy policy. Personaspect never sees your card details.

On our side we record the purchase: the payment session code, the product, the price, the language, the page you came from, the date and the payment status. The time of your consent to immediate delivery is recorded with the payment at Stripe. We read your email address from Stripe once, to send you the report link, and we do not save it. We process this data to perform the contract and to meet tax obligations (Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).

Providers

We rely on two providers, which process data on our behalf or as independent controllers for their own part:

• Cloudflare, to host the site and the database, send the email with the report link and protect the service from abuse. To limit repeated requests Cloudflare processes your IP address, which we do not save.
• Stripe, for payments.

Both may process data outside the European Union, under GDPR safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

How long

• A profile with no purchase is deleted automatically after 90 days.
• A profile with a purchased report stays until you delete it.
• The purchase record is kept for ten years, as tax rules require, even after you delete your profile: from then on it is no longer linked to any profile.
• Data in your browser stays until you clear it.

Your rights

You can delete your profile at any time with the button on the result page and on the report page: deletion is immediate. You also have the right to request access, rectification, restriction and portability of your data and to object to processing, by writing to [email protected]. Since we do not know who you are, we will need your personal link to find your profile.

If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with your data protection authority; in Italy that is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

Children

The service is not meant for anyone under 14.

Changes

We may update this policy. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
